Tell me how your Barbie collection started and your love for collecting in general. 
My parents told me I was always drawn to the Barbie aisle when they started taking me to toy stores as a kid. They were really open and bought me my first Barbie. I’m pretty sure it was Twirlin’ Make-up Barbie. She had giant gems on her skirt that were filled with make-up. I think I just love stuff and that's where my love of collecting comes from.  



Favorite Barbie and why. 
I have 2, the Versace Barbie and The Birds Barbie, I always have them out on display.



How many pairs of shoes do you have in your collection? 
Over 600 - half I wear and half I keep as an archive.


What were your first 5 shoes in the collection?
I can’t remember but these pairs I think I’ve had the longest - Prada SS12 Flame Heels, Helmut Lang SS03 Sandals, Margiela SS16 Pumps, Dior FW14 Sneaker Heels,  Prada SS10 Lucite Platforms. 



Name 3 pairs of shoes you wish you could get for your collection.
Oliver Theyskens SS02 Bird Shoes - Margiela SS09 Oversized Sandals - ANY of the Manolo Blahniks they produced from the Marie Antoinette movie (Sandy has a pair ;))

What are you hoping for this Christmas?
A beautiful tree! I saw my dream tree last year after I had already gotten one so I'm searching for one like it this year. 



What's in your real real shopping cart?
A Prada gingham shirt for me and feather Marc Jacobs runway sandals for the archive.


Favorite restaurant in Milan and Paris
It changes every trip but right now it’s - Trattoria Masuelli or Sandi in Milan and Phoenix in Paris
